I have always had a love for cooking, which comes from my grandmother. She loved to cook, that was one of the ways she expressed her love. Being a military veteran I missed having home-cooked meals. So, I would call my grandmother up and she’d share her recipes with me. Cooking meals that she taught me always made me feel like I had a little piece of home everywhere I went. Every meal felt like a big hug from her. And, through my love for cooking, I developed a passion for baking. I have over 8 years of baking experience.

I started out making cakes for friends and family. Then, I made a cake for a work event and everything snowballed from there, and just like that Southern Sugar Bake Shop was born.

I wanted to create something of my own that represented my love and passion to serve people. Whether it be a cake or some of our sweets I strive to provide my customers with unique products and personalized experiences that are unmatched by others!!! At Southern Sugar Bake Shop we use all the best products and latest techniques to provide our customers with exceptional service.

I enjoy creating cakes that provide life-long memories. I love what I do and pray that I can continue to make people smile for years to come.
